Cross Words - (Palm Sunday 2026)

March 29, 2026 – Cry Out to Me

Palm Sunday is often remembered with joy, but the crowd’s cry of “Hosanna!” is also a plea: “Save us!” God invites His people to cry out to Him in joy, need, fear, hope, and trust. So often we cry out to lesser “saviors,” but only Jesus hears and rescues. Palm Sunday teaches us to direct our deepest cries to the One who comes to save.

About the speaker

David Dyer

Hi I'm Pastor David Dyer. I was the Vicar from August 2001 through July 2002 and then called as the Associate Pastor in June 2003 through January 2007. I am most proud of my kids who have a shared appreciation and love of all things adventuring in the outdoors. In addition, I love that my kids have a heart for caring and sharing Jesus’ love with others. My favorite part of being on the Bethlehem team is that I enjoy everyone’s different background and experience which brings a balance to our team approach to reaching the lost. 1 Corinthians 2:2, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you but Jesus Christ and him crucified."
