A Place for Kids to Grow Together
Kids are important to us at Bethlehem Church, and we’ve created a ministry just for them!
BethlehemKIDS is a fun and engaging space where children can grow closer to Jesus, build friendships, and learn how to share God’s love with others. From hands-on activities to Bible-based lessons, our program is designed to meet kids right where they are and help them take their next steps in faith—all in a safe and nurturing environment.
How it works:
- At 9:00 AM – Families begin worship in the Sanctuary and kids are excused right before the sermon to meet their group in the narthex and move to their classroom.
- At 10:30 AM – Families begin worship in the Sanctuary and kids are excused right before the sermon to meet their group in the narthex and move to their classroom.
How it Works
BethlehemKIDS Nursery
The Nursery is for infants and toddlers providing a caring, loving, grace-filled environment for little ones up to age 3, during all of our worship services.
1st-3rd Grade
Kids in 1st through 3rd grade meet in The Mountainside Room for age-appropriate lessons and activities during the services. Bethlehem KIDS start in worship and are dismissed right before the sermon.
4th - 6th Grade
4th-6th Grade- During the 10:00 am service, our 4th-6th grade students will meet in the Docks (youth room) and have the opportunity to dig deeper into the Word of God! LEVEL UP kids start in worship and are dismissed right before the sermon.
Meet Stephanie, Our Kids Ministry Director
Hi, I’m Stephanie, and I have the incredible privilege of leading Bethlehem KIDS! What excites me most about this ministry is watching kids have those “lightbulb moments” when they realize—maybe for the first time or in a moment they need it most—that Jesus is real and His love for them never ends. It’s an indescribable joy to see their faith come alive in such personal ways.
I love finding fun and meaningful ways to share Jesus with kids. Whether it’s through games, puppets, or object lessons for our younger children, or encouraging older kids to open their Bibles and explore God’s Word on their own, I aim to make faith engaging and relatable for every age. I also look for opportunities to weave faith into our everyday conversations, showing kids how Jesus’ teachings connect to their daily lives.
Some of my favorite moments are seeing older kids helping younger ones find Bible passages, hearing them pray for one another, or watching them sing their hearts out in Chapel. Moments like these remind me why this ministry matters so much.
I also love partnering with parents to support faith at home. Through resources like Family Worship Packets, seasonal devotionals, and our quarterly parenting classes, I want to equip and encourage parents as they take on the vital role of shaping their kids’ faith journey.
My greatest hope is that every child who walks through the doors of Bethlehem KIDS leaves knowing this unshakable truth: no matter where they go, what happens, or what they do, God’s love for them will never run out, never fail, and never end.

But we don’t stop there—we believe faith doesn’t only happen at church. That’s why we provide parents with tools, resources, and encouragement to build faith at home.
Through workshops, take-home materials, and opportunities to connect with other parents, we’re here to help you guide your kids on their journey with Jesus every step of the way.
